Company Background

M 28 Trading Enterprise cc was established in 2007, a black owned and managed organisation consulting on Human Resource services specialising on Transformation. It is based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The company is a brainchild of a Previously Disadvantaged Individual which culminates from diverse involvement in different business as well as general interest in socio – economic development of South Africa, particularly the Eastern Cape.

Company Management

M28 trading enterprise is led by an experienced team of managers from different back grounds and experiences. Our management team consist of professionally qualified individuals in the field of Human Resources Management, Accounting and some currently studying law. The management structure comprises of 75% female representatives.

At the helm of our management team is our Managing Director-Luthando Bleki, with wealth of experience in dealing with regulations relating to labour law. He was instrumental in the development of strategy for Department of Labour that is used to Audit Company’s compliance with Employment Equity in the form of Substantive Inspection and the Director General Reviews. He has visited numerous companies listed on JSE in determining their compliance with Employment Equity and also training them on meeting required compliance. In his presentations he motivates companies to be driven by the spirit of self-compliance.

Purpose of Existence

In this modern era leading companies are constantly seeking ways to comply with the regulations governing relations between employer and employee. Companies seek to attract and retain skilled employees and this challenge is not overcome because of the shortage of skills in the market. On top of this challenge is the requirement to comply with Employment Equity, Skills Development and Broad Black Based Economic Empowerment Act. After working for 10 years in the Department of Labour I observed how companies spend huge amounts of money on consultants and their quest are not met. Our company seeks to close the identified gap and be a cost saving agency for companies.
